Vintage 1960's Modernist Brutalist Israel Sterling Silver Quartz Pendant Necklace Avi Soffer AS Mark

I purchased this in an antiques market in Roskilde, Denmark, where I found numerous modernist sterling pieces. This is an elegant, rare vintage modernist sterling silver pendant necklace with what looks like a faceted smoky quartz stone, hung from an unusual sterling chain of long flat double links. I'm told the "AS" mark on the back may be the mark for Avi Soffer. I have not been able to verify this but the piece is very similar to his designs and is from the same time period.
